“ These five stars are for the subs. I typically consider the atmosphere and service in my ratings, but I want to focus solely on the amazing subs they create. The sub sandwich I had was the freshest and cheesiest I've ever experienced. We also ordered a BBQ chicken pizza; the crust was to die for, but unfortunately, the chicken wasn't fresh. The sauce had a bit of a smoky flavor, which made it an unremarkable choice of topping. I will definitely return for the sake of the sub! The atmosphere of the restaurant is okay, but it’s a bit old and could use a significant renovation. The service was good, and I appreciate that they are an environmentally friendly place— all their utensils and plates are plastic-free. ”

I, for one, will not be able to enjoy another pizza unless it’s from here. I also want to highlight that the service is excellent! “ Down to Kingston for a few days on golf trip & it was suggested to try Mamas pizzeria - we ordered 2 large pizzas for 4 starving guys. One donair & other was works. Great suggestion & we loved both pizzas. Lots of toppings on both pizzas. Person who took phone order was very nice & delivery guy was great. Highly recommend this pizza restaurant if in area. ”

Simple. Fact. It’s hot and fresh. Great toppings. Amazing dough. Staff is amazingly friendly, too! Great mom and pop feel in a small town venue. So. I don’t care if you are living in snooty Halifax with its overrated pizza. Get in your car, go for a drive, get one of these amazing pizzas. There’s even a park across the street you can sit in to have a pizza picnic. Do it! Do it now! Great spot, guys! Congrats on getting it right! ”
